How my Services process works - 7 Steps Project
Step 1
We learn about your Vision
The first part of the interior design process always starts with a concept. Here I am creating a constant flow in your space.Step 2
We create a Concept / Project
After the concept is defined, I expand the boundaries of your space by developing the design features of the house and selecting finishing materials, plumbing, lighting, furniture and accessories. This is also the stage where we work closely with the architect to develop your building documentation, including all RCP, plumbing and electrical plans.Step 3
Selections
After creating the first layer of materials and functions in your home, we develop ideas and presentations for furniture, lighting and accessories. In addition to in-studio presentations, we also schedule meetings at local showrooms to view furniture in the store.Step 4
Planning and specifications
Once the design and selection of your home have been approved by you, the design process begins. I prepare terms of reference detailing the intent of the project, as well as internal plans for general contractors and subcontractors to begin scoping. We review these specifications with you to ensure that all required functionality is defined.Step 5
Construction
Now the fun part! After the approval of the entire project and the order of materials, we begin construction. I work very closely with our general contractor to make sure all floors, tiles, plumbing and electrical installations are installed as planned, function properly and look beautiful.Step 6
Project turnover
This is a decisive turning point in the project as every detail hardens. At this time, we all get together and take on certain tasks: purchasing accessories, completing final repairs with our carpenters, carefully moving all your new furniture, cleaning and hanging all the latest works of art on the walls. After your new home is perfectly decorated, I will take professional photos!
